Coming Soon...

Haha so sorry i couldn't resist!

So two posts in one day, you are a lucky lot! This one is literally to do as it says in the title & let you know a few posts that will be making their way to you very soon!!

As we already know ive been so bad at updating this blog since it started and i really am on a mission to make it up to anyone that is even still reading so I am going to list a few posts that will be coming and as they come out i will link to them on this page so you can keep checking back incase there's one you really wanted to read but missed it!! Favourite Smoothie Recipes

Hi Everyone,
so today I wanted to talk about smoothies! I don't know about you but I absolutely love them! Especially in the summer, I just think there's nothing better then making one as a breakfast or small afternoon snack knowing that its full of goodness, filling and healthy. For me, having two kids its also nice knowing i can make them something that's tasty, filling and really healthy for them!

Smoothies are also an easy and great way to change up your diet plan to be a bit healthier without much added effort - in fact the hardest thing about smoothies is cleaning the blender after!!

So today I'm sharing two of my favourite go to recipes that i just love and hope that you will too!!


Mango & Banana Smoothie
serves 2

Ingredients;
1 mango (fresh or frozen)
1 banana
3tbsp non fat natural yoghurt or Greek yoghurt
300ml milk
ice (optional)

method;
place all your ingredients into your blender and blend until everything is thoroughly mixed and you have a dessert like consistency. If your using frozen mango then there is no need to add ice.

This is probably my favourite recipe at the moment, i love how thick and creamy like this smoothie is. As i blog more you will come to see that i love desserts and this for me is a healthy way of feeling like ive had something a little bit naughty


Kale & Banana Smoothie
Serves 1

Ingredients;
1 orange (peeled and sliced)
1/2 cup water or coconut water
1 kale leaf shredded
2 bananas (chopped)
ice (optional)

method;
add your sliced orange to the blender and blend until its juice. Add the water and shredded kale leaf and blend until there are no bits of kale leaf left finally add your chopped bananas and blend until the mixture becomes thick and dessert like. If you want your smoothie chilled add ice with your banana OR pre chop and pre freeze your banana and use that instead!

So this smoothie when its done is a very bright green colour but don't let that put you off! I promise it tastes sooo good!! Alot of people are actually scared with this one that you will really taste the kale but the banana hides it! This recipe is actually a great way to incorporate kale into your diet even if your not keen on the taste!

Happy Summer!!!

Hi Guys!!!!

so ive been pretty lazy updating haven't I!!??

so this is just a quick post to say happy summer - this is officially my favourite time of year! Or one of them at least!

i haven't forgotten about this but more haven't had time to get things done! So i will start getting some posts up and running over the next few days!

for now though happy sunny days i hope your enjoying them! What have you been up to or do you have any plans these next few weeks?

Lets talk tea...

Hi All!!
I've decided to do an extra post today really to give you all something to read for now! Lets call it a belated motivation Monday post!!

Today i wanted to talk about tea, green tea!! We all know how amazing this tea is but some people might not know all the amazing benefits of this powerhouse tea!

I've done some search and found a handy website called The Tea Talk. Basically you can find ANY tea on here and all of its benefits, great for hunting info fast!! So if your interested in finding out the benefits of green tea i suggest a look there!!   • of course the most popular one - help reduce your weight!

  • and finally it contains L-theanine and this helps with weight management, relieves anxiety, helps you relax, improve concentration and increase alertness

I also found that to get the best health benefits from your green tea try to drink it 4-5 times a day!! This cam be a bit tough but so worth it right!?

There are of course many different flavours of green tea if your not impressed with its flavour or add a small teaspoon of honey to help the taste! I promise though, you'll get used to it and with so many health benefits its soooo worth it!!

Blog Update!!

Hi Everyone!
Happy Tuesday! So ive been thinking and really struggling with what i wanted to post and when etc and have decided that on certain days i would like to post about certain things! You know that way you guys know when and what ill be posting!

So ive decided to make Monday a motivational Monday kind of day so i will post things like fitness or health related - after a weekend you sometimes need that push to get back into the swing of things!!


Fridays will be Fat Friday! Ive only picked that name for fun!!! I'll try and post a recipe ive made during the week on a Friday - it could be healthy or not! But in general itll be a recipe! .. This will be good for me too, i cant cook or at least not well so itll help motivate me to try and cook a bit more and hopefully get better! So i hope you check back for those chestnuts!!

the rest of the time ill just post anything for now until I'm really in the swing of things!

i absolutely love pinterest, anyone else too?? So everynow and again ill try and find some pinterest pins and let you know how they go!! Also i will try and get some reviews on products and stuff up too!!

Welcome to my blog!!

Hi Everyone!!
Welcome to my blog, agh!!

I'm still really new to this so please all bare with me!! I just wanted to do a quick welcome blog to say Hi! I'm Ellie!

So being new it might take me a while to get the hang of this!! Any hints are welcome and thank you in advance!! This blog is hopefully going to fill up soon with things like beauty, fitness maybe some recipes - I'm awful at cooking so learn along with me lol! And hopefully other things too! .. It was probably health and social care - when doing GCSE's. We had a lovely teacher who while made sure we worked hard also let us chat away! And it was a class full of girls!

non alcoholic would be water or pineapple juice. Alcoholic i love cocktails!! Or any vodka drink!!

At the moment ooooh tough!! I couldn't say!

Not in a team but i like to run!

I loved the twilight books and the hunger games too!
